This website highlights just a sample of my work since I began quilting in 2003. Aunt Hettie’s Doily, featured at right, showcases a piece of my aunt’s heirloom needlework combined with Pennsylvania Dutch motifs.

The inspiration for my quilts comes from many sources. My creativity is highly influenced by my love of travel and my Pennsylvania German roots. I also find that inspiration can come from unexpected places, such as browsing a home decor catalog or stumbling upon an interesting fabric.

All of my quilts are machine-pieced and machine quilted on a home sewing machine. I work mostly in cotton, but have dabbled in silk and silk/cotton blends.
